Height and Weight- 19 to 20 inches at the shoulder and weighing between 40 and 50 pounds

 

Lifespan- 12-14 yrs

 

The coat of this breed is a thick coat it comes in several colors and can be flat or wavy. Their ears are thick and long and their eyes are kind and trusting. They are excitable, affectionate, smart and eager to learn.

 

Moderate exercise is required for this breed such as long walks, fetch, agility, and swimming. They love the outdoors!

 

An affectionate and attentive breed they make wonderful family pets.

 

Two types of English Springer Spaniels: The bench type is designed for the show ring, with a longer, thicker coat with more feathering. The field type is designed for hunting, with a lighter coat and more athletic.
